Navigating Family Information

 

You can use this section to track Parental Status, Relationship to Participants, Primary Language at Home, Acquiring/learning another language in addition to English, Number in Household, Number in Family, and Family Attachments.

 

If you had previously added Phone Numbers for a family in Family Information, you will still be able to view their Phone Numbers in ChildPlus 5.5. However, you will no longer be able to add or edit Phone Numbers in Family Information. Phone Numbers should be associated with adult Family Members instead.

Where do I track CACFP information in ChildPlus?CACFPThe USDA’s Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) provides meals and snacks to eligible children and adults. In centers, participants from households with incomes at or below 130 percent of poverty are eligible for free meals. Participants in centers with household incomes between 130 percent and 185 percent of poverty are eligible for meals at a reduced price. Each institution must determine an enrolled participant’s eligibility for free and reduced price meals served in centers. information is tracked for each participant in the Enrollment module.

 

You can use the Emergency Contacts & Release Authorizations section to record information about each of the family’s emergency contacts and which of these contacts are authorized to pick family members up from school. Click here for more information on tracking emergency contacts and release authorizations.

 

Once you complete this information for the family, ChildPlus will use these contacts as the default emergency contact and release authorization(s) for each member of the family.
